João Pedro Tinoco

João Pedro Tinoco is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Cinema and works with Production, Script and Direction. Graduated at UFRJ in Advertising, he began his career at Telecine, collaborating in the production and creation of content, production of briefings, support in the creation of Telecine Play, Public Relations and Production of the channel's events, which included critics, artists and personalities from the National and international cinema and TV, as well as renowned events such as Shell Open Air, Festival do Rio and Rio Market. He also attended the Rio Festival at the Brazilian Cinema Research Center (CPCB) and took courses with Ruy Guerra at the Darcy Ribeiro Cinema School. He also worked in multinationals in the areas of Data and Marketing, developing his analytical vision that he acquired when he studied Engineering, also at UFRJ, and carrying out projects for Coca-Cola, Danone, Red Bull, Santander and Shell. He re-entered the Audiovisual market through the Brazilian Cinematography Association and its courses, which include projects with Walter Lima Jr., Hsu Chien and Hamsa Wood. In addition to working with Production on independent audiovisual projects and Writing and Directing own projects. He founded the production company Visaggio Filmes in 2023, focused on original and innovative stories, scripts and ideas, targeting both market potential and the inclusion of the diversity of the Brazilian population, creating content that people can identify and fall in love with. His production company has three projects in 2023, among released and post-production, including production, script and direction: Amor (2023), Creep (2023) and Zona de Turismo (2023).
